Apple Fest in Weston, MO

On Saturday we went to the Applefest in Weston, MO. Weston is about 45 minutes away from our neighborhood, and it's a lovely drive out there. But once we were in Weston it took about another 45 minutes to get to the town and the festival. All the roads were blocked and there were uniforms directing traffic. It seemed like we were headed back out of town again.
We finally made it and got a really great parking space. Then we found potties really close with no lines and fresh hand sanitizers. (There was a group of potties near the food court with about 25 people in line.)

The crowd was huge, and the wait for everything was long.

We had our lunch, I had an Italian sausage and Bill had a barbecue, then we waited in line for 20 minutes for an apple dumpling, and said farewell to Weston.

On our way out of town we stopped at the Red Barn, Vaughn's orchard. There was a long line here also. The line was for freshly made, hot apple fritter donuts. They were good, and worth the wait.

Good bye Weston, we'll be back again. This is a picture of my home, the one in my dreams.
