Good morning

It really is a good morning. Today will be cold and we are sure now that winter is close, the weather shows us this. But our hearts are warm and the message from the Pastor last night fills me with hope that I can do better in my life and grow to be a better person.

He told us of our responsibilities to our LORD and the people of His church. I am going to work hard to incorporate each of these into my life, so that when I see Jesus I won't be ashamed. I long to hear that ' good and faithful servant' pronouncement for myself.

We have a responsibility for stewardship from God to each other.

1. Purity, we as believers are called to maintain a pure countenance. I know I need to work on this.

2. Integrity, is the way the world should see each of those who name the name of Christ. Honesty in our dealings with each other and the world needs to characterize my life.

3. Love for one another. This should be the easiest one, but I find it somewhat of a challenge to enjoy the company of many of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I need a lot of work in this area. I think I will start today trying to live as Jesus did. He accepted people as they were

Remake

Well this blog has just been sitting for a long time, and I thought perhaps I would update.

As you can see I have changed the name since my dear buddies don't post on here any more than I do. So now it's mine all mine.

I finished getting out all of the Christmas decorations for this year, and I decided what is the purpose of putting all this out and doing all this work for only myself and my dear hubby. So this weekend we start to invite people to our house. I don't know who my first victims will be, but we'll see, and I'll report on how it went. We used to do this all the time, but I haven't done it in a long while. I wonder why we just stop doing things we love? I've seen this happen with the older folks in our own family, I guess I have just not got the energy for all the preparation and clean up any more. Well that is my goal for the new year. GET MORE ENERGY.

Maybe they'll put it on sale at Target. :))
