Kids' Care Cartons

You can tell it's fall at our church when the lobby fills with shoe box sized boxes, that are all decorated and securely taped shut. These boxes will be shipped to Russia for use by BMI. Some of the boxes are give to orphans, some to children at camp and others to the hundreds of homeless boys and girls the folks in the churches there come in contact with.
There are lots of treasures packed in these little packages. Nothing liquid, but lots of candy, gum, crayons, soap, socks and underwear. Piles of toys and stuffed animals make the trip in the huge container these boxes will be shipped in. Last but not least the prayers of all the folks at our church go with each box for the child who receives it. Prayers that they will find a bit of joy and a touch of physical comfort in the contents. Prayers too for their everlasting salvation, that the missionaries with BMI will be able to reach each kiddo with the gospel message that Jesus loves them, and died for them so they, like you, can have an eternal home in heaven.
A nice promise for some who may not have had a home at all, yet.

We sent 100 boxes this year.!!
